The TAC is a Victorian Government-owned organisation established to:
- Pay for treatment and benefits for people injured in transport accidents.
- Promote road safety initiatives.
- Improve Victoria’s trauma system.
The TAC supports individuals injured in transport accidents by covering medical expenses, rehabilitation, and care services to help them recover and regain independence.
