Home Care Packages

Home Care Packages (HCP) are government-funded initiatives designed to help individuals aged 65 and older maintain their independence while living at home. Once approved for funding, you have the freedom to select a provider and work together to create a personalised care plan tailored completely to what you need.

Take control of your care with Home Care packages

We believe in building personal connections from the very first phone call—no need to download resources or navigate confusing processes on your own. Simply give us a call, and we will take the time to explain how we work and how we can support you.

With over 25 years of experience delivering in-home care, we offer competitive rates with no hidden entry or exit fees, ensuring transparency and trust. Our experienced, long-standing team of professionals is local to your area, supported by a network of offices in all major cities.

Our dedicated Care Coordinators will help you manage your package and ensure you get the most out of your funding. We offer free, no-obligation consultations in the comfort of your home, working flexibly around your schedule to suit your routine.

Let us take the stress out of navigating Home Care Packages and give you the support you need to live independently and confidently at home.

How to qualify and apply for a Home Care Package

Home Care Package Eligibility

To qualify for a Home Care Package in Australia, you must:

  • Be 65 years or older.
  • Undergo an assessment by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) to determine your need for support to live independently.

Your financial situation won’t affect your eligibility, but you may need to contribute to service costs based on your circumstances. We can help you arrange an Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) through My Aged Care to make the process easier.

How do I apply?

The application process can feel overwhelming, but your dedicated Care Consultant will guide you every step of the way.

  1. Call us, and we’ll walk you through the application process.
  2. Alternatively, you, your family member, or your GP can submit a referral through the My Aged Care website.

We’re just a phone call away to answer your questions and provide guidance whenever you need it.

Reach out by completing the form, or give us a call.

What support do I get?

Home Care Packages are designed with you in control. You can choose the services you need and leave out those you don’t, giving you the flexibility and freedom to tailor your care.

We provide regular assistance to help you stay active, connected, and independent while living at home.

There are four levels of Home Care Packages:

Level 1

Basic care needs

Level 2

Low-level care needs

Level 3

Intermediate care needs

Level 4

High-level care needs

Levels 1 & 2 focus on basic support, while Levels 3 & 4 include more complex care, such as clinical services delivered in your home.

A specialist aged care assessor will visit your home to assess your needs and determine which package level you are eligible for.

How long does it take?

Home Care Packages are allocated based on a national priority system, which considers your approval date and the urgency of your care needs.

Wait times can vary depending on the services you require and your location.
